Old club callsign being maintained

The RMIT University School of Electrical and Computer Engineering is again the custodian of the VK3MT amateur radio callsign.

It was originally issued to the 'Melbourne Technical College - Radio School' which commenced classes in 1934 and as part of the 120 year evolution of RMIT University has now been reclaimed.

Hopefully VK3MT will continue the tradition of helping to expose technical students to amateur radio.
